Has been practising Karate
since 1977 when he started by studying traditional
karate through the Shotokan style.
From there
he progressed to Lau Gar Kung Fu and then
onto Full Contact Karate. By 1983 Cliff had
become a Senior Instructor with the English
Contact Karate Association.
By 1986 Cliff
had introduced this unique style of Karate
into Wales in the form of the Welsh Contact
Karate Association, opening clubs in Swansea,
Cardiff, Newport, Caerphilly and Barry.
Cliff
has developed the W.C.K.A to such an extent
that it now boasts its own nucleus of Black
Belts, many of whom have formed thier own
W.C.K.A affiliated clubs.
