David has been studying karate for 8 years, initially a traditional style, Wado Ryu, then with the WCKA, initially under Dave Wing in Fleur De Lys, and more recently under Daniel Parker at Penlan. David is currently studying for his 2nd Degree Black Belt and is the 2007 English Contact Karate Association Semi Contact National Champion (executive category). David represented Wales in the WKA World Championships in Germany in August 2007.
